Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Gaurav Khanna is one of the most watched TV shows. The show is known to top the TRP charts. Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed recently revealed that she was supposed to be a part of the show. However, it didn't happen because of her ex-boyfriend, actor Paras Kalnawat.

Paras plays the role of Samar Shah in Anupamaa. Speaking to ETimes, Urfi said, "We were supposed to work together in a show, I guess Anupamaa only. He requested the creative director and everyone to not cast me in the show. Whenever there is even a slight chance of me being in the show, he would request the team to not cast me. Because apparently, his girlfriend, present or ex doesn't want us to work together."

Urfi also revealed the reason behind their breakup. She said that he was too possessive and she wanted to split within one month of them dating. The actress also called him a 'kid' and stated that she could not take it anyone and hence called it quits. "He tried to woo me again by having 3 tattoos of my name, but who does that after one has parted ways? Surely, I wasn't going back to him just for the tattoos. Even if he had tattoos of my name all over his body, I wouldn't have," she added.

Urfi, who was last seen in Karan Johar-hosted show Bigg Boss OTT, is known for playing the role of Avni in Bade Bhaiyaa Ki Dulhania, Aarti in Meri Durga and Bella in Bepannaah and Mira in Puncch Beach Season 2.
